https://actionnetwork.org/events/public-health-working-group-meeting-3Description:
Public Health Working Group general meetings involve checking in about (and planning next steps for) projects that you and your fellow members are working on to improve health outcomes in your communities. Projects include anything from campaigning for policies like universal healthcare and improved control of infectious disease, to distributing health supplies in community spaces, to holding accessible social events. To better contextualize your current conditions as you organize, general meetings also include time dedicated to learning about current and past public health issues.
🗓️ General meetings are always on the third Monday of each month.

Fund Our Service Industry Strike Fund!
Portland, one of America’s foodie capitals, has not become the city it is without the hard work of our service industry workers and the 130+ businesses, restaurants, and bars that are closing in solidarity with our immigrant community in Maine on January 30th.
Your donation will go to Portland, ME service industry workers on strike — helping workers cover rent and bills while they send a clear message that they are not afraid to withhold labor for the safety of our neighbors. ✊
